Working Principle:
The MQ136 operates based on the principle of gas adsorption on the surface of a semiconductor material. When the target gas (especially H₂S) comes into contact with the heated SnO₂ sensitive layer, the conductivity of the material changes. This change in conductivity is proportional to the concentration of the target gas, which can be converted into a measurable electrical signal through a simple circuit.
